I don’t know about you, but in studying the Bible I can get off on a rabbit trail. I actually enjoy these little adventures, because God is in every part of those searches.

Recently I started off in Mark 2, and then somehow ended up at Colossians 4:6: “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”

Instant Or Real Mashed Potatoes?

Instant mashed potatoes, fast food, overnight weight loss, debt consolidation loans and countless other quick fixes have this culture spending a ton of money looking to save time or get us out of a tough spot.

Although I’m not personally against instant mashed potatoes, nothing compares to the real thing. Real potatoes take time to make but most opt out for the quicker approach. Life can be like real mashed potatoes; it may take a little longer to make, but it’s well worth the effort.
