The night air was cold as I stumbled down the street at 2:30 a.m. I had been drinking all day. My life played in my mind like an old-reel horror film. Anger gave way to pain and hopelessness. All of the things that I had done – the drinking, the endless revolving door of men, the stealing, the lies, the family gatherings I missed, the thoughts...
I have battled many issues in my 47 years. I am now 13.5 years sober and living for Jesus. He has replaced my hopelessness with His hope, dispair with His joy and chaos for His order. I have seen through my years as a counselor, marriages saved, people delivered from many kinds of addictions, set free from depression and anxiety. I absolutely love counseling from God's word and through prayer. He is able!
